To ask the President of the Board of Trade what are the total amounts paid to date by the redundancy payments section to former employees of the Swan Hunter shipyard, Tyneside in respect of(a) compensation for insolvent employers' failure to give proper statutory notice, (b) redundancy payments from the national insurance fund, (c) payments received through protective awards made by industrial tribunals and (d) refunds of notional tax deducted in the calculation of routine payments.
