§ Mr. Kynoch[holding answer 12 December 1995]:. Beaufort's dyke is the only charted munitions disposal site to the south-west of Arran. Details of disposals there are contained in the Ministry of Defence report placed in the House of Commons Library on 15 November.
There have also been commercial explosives disposals to the east of Arran at Birch point. The report of a marine laboratory survey of that area was placed in the House of Commons Library on 25 July 1990.
