§ Mr. Robert B. JonesA total of £3 million has been transferred to the provision for rate support grant in 1996–97 and 1997–98 in respect of the new duty to produce energy conservation reports under the Home Energy Conservation Act 1995 in accordance with the new burdens procedure agreed with the local authority associations. The transfer has been made from this Department's energy efficiency expenditure programme.
