§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe Government are considering the implications of the establishment of the new unitary local authorities for the boundaries of health boards. Discussions have been held by officials with the health boards whose boundaries are not coterminous with those of the new local authorities to obtain the information necessary to inform our consideration of this matter. The health boards concerned are Greater Glasgow health board, Argyll and Clyde health board and Lanarkshire health board.
