asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they intend to install the Aircrew Friend or Foe Visual Identification System (AFF-VIS) in British aircraft, since it is installed in the United States aircraft operating in the airspace of former Yugoslavia.

Earl Howe:

We are not aware of a system with this name. The identification systems currently in service meet our operational requirements in the former Yugoslavia.
