Details of individuals employed by the Department are contained in the civil service staff post summary tables, copies of which are available in the Library. Staffing costs since 1990 can be found in the relevant copies of the departmental report.
The purpose of employing consultants, outside organisations and individuals was and is to assist the Department in achieving its aims and objectives as set out in the departmental reports.
