Of these, 193 are surplus to requirements and will he sold while the remainder will be retained to house a squadron returning from overseas. In south-west Cambridgeshire, 42 of the vacant properties are awaiting sale. Information on the number of properties vacant for six months or more is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
