To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many ministerial visits have been undertaken by each Minister in his Department between 6 July and 1 December; and how many and what percentage of these have involved the Minister travelling abroad. [4221]

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

I have made seven ministerial visits, all of which were abroad.

The Paymaster General has made four visits, of which two were abroad. The Financial Secretary has made four visits and the Economic Secretary has made three visits, none of which was abroad. The Chief Secretary has made no visits.
