§ Mr. Robin SquireUp to £5 million will be made available to support the establishment of primary literacy and numeracy centres in 1996–97. Funding for later years will be decided in the light of each year's public expenditure settlement; it is expected that broadly similar sums ,will be available in 1997–98 and 1998–99.
