the introduction of GNVQs in schools and further education colleges in Northern Ireland in each year since 1992–93. [2493]
§ Mr. AncramIt is not possible to identify separately the total expenditure on GNVQs in schools and further education colleges. Schools and colleges which provide GNVQs meet the costs from within the totality of the resources available to them.
However, additional resources have been made available to 16 schools and to all colleges to assist them to pilot GNVQs and to facilitate the introduction of new subject areas. To date, a total of £32,000 has been paid to schools and £264,000 to colleges.
