Dr. Omoyiola has been in the United Kingdom without leave since 14 May 1991 and entered his employment without permission to do so. He has been refused a work permit. On 16 November 1994 he was given notice of a decision to deport him and his appeal was subsequently dismissed by an independent adjudicator who considered it inappropriate to make any recommendation on his case to the Secretary of State. Full account has been taken of the various representations made on Dr. Omoyiola's behalf. However, he has no claim to be here and his circumstances are not so compelling or compassionate as to warrant him being allowed to remain exceptionally. A deportation order has therefore been signed on 10 November 1995 and this will shortly be served on Dr. Omoyiola. Arrangements will be made for his removal to Nigeria.
