§ Mr. AncramInspection of schools of all types in Northern Ireland follows the principles and procedures set out in two booklets published by the Department of Education, "The Inspection Process in Schools" and "Evaluating Schools'. Copies of these are available in the Library. The effectiveness of inspection is evaluated annually and adjusted as necessary.
