§ Sir Hector Monro[holding answer 24 April 1995]: No. It would not be appropriate for policy on this matter to be constrained by local authority boundaries. The Government's policy will be set out later this year when they publish the conclusions to their review of radioactive waste management policy, on which a consultation document was issued in August 1994.
