Mr. Ancram

No orders of enforcement have been issued by the Fair Employment Tribunal since the introduction of the Fair Employment (Northern Ireland) Act 1989.

Mr. McGrady

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many and what firms or employers have been debarred from tendering for contracts as a result of non-compliance with orders of enforcement from the Fair Employment Tribunal since the introduction of the Fair Employment (Northern Ireland) Act 1989. [19853]

Mr. Ancram

Since the introduction of the Fair Employment Act 1989 no firms have been debarred from tendering for contracts as a result of non-compliance with an order of enforcement from the Fair Employment Tribunal.

1989, cannot be provided in view of the disproportionate cost involved.
