§ Mr. PaiceThe National Council of Vocational Qualifications is funded through its co-sponsoring Departments of Employment, Education, Wales and Northern Ireland and from other sources—primarily national vocational qualification fees payable by awarding bodies and subscriptions to the national database of vocational qualifications. Grant in aid funding, which has contributed towards NCVQ's operating costs has been provided since it was established in 1986 is shown in the following table:
