§ Mr. SoamesAs announced by my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Defence in his speech to the Centre for Defence Studies at King's college, London on 16 November 1993, each Trident submarine will deploy with no more than 96 warheads and many will carry significantly fewer.
