HC Deb 18 April 1995 vol 258 c39W
Mr. Sutcliffe

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the proposed building development plans for the Inland Revenue in Bradford. [19135]

Sir George Young

The Inland Revenue is planning to bring its operations currently housed in four buildings in the Bradford area into a single occupation by the spring of 1997.

Options to meet this requirement are under consideration.

Mr. Sutcliffe

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what will happen to the leases on buildings that the Inland Revenue holds in Bradford when the Inland Revenue moves into new buildings.

Sir George Young

All the leases will be terminated at the break dates and the Inland Revenue will seek to relet or reuse any vacant accommodation in the interim.
