§ Sir George Young[holding answer 4 April 1995]: The following functions formerly undertaken in the Treasury have been transferred to agencies in the past two years. The numbers of posts are those which existed in the Treasury immediately prior to the transfer. The agencies will make a commercial decision on the number of staff required to undertake these functions in future:
