§ Mr. PageImports of orimulsion began in December 1990. There was strong growth in 1992, but imports have remained fairly stable since then. In 1994, imports were 1.2 million tonnes. Figures for use of orimulsion are published in "Energy Trends", a copy of which is available in the Library of the House.
The future use of orimulsion is a commercial matter for the companies concerned, which will have to comply with requirements of Her Majesty's inspectorate of pollution.
