§ Mr. Sackville"The Health of the Nation" White Paper, Cm 1986, identified the workplace as an important setting for the promotion of good health. The Department has set up a multi-disciplinary steering group to devise a practical means of encouraging employers to undertake voluntary health promotion activities. In addition, the health at work in the national health service programme has been running successfully now for nearly three years.
