The Home Secretary has asked me to reply to your recent Question about Miss Phillipa Drew's transfer within the Home Office.In line with plans developed last year this is a routine career development move for Miss Drew, who by the Summer will have spent three and a half years int he Prison Service. The move is entirely unrelated to any decision in respect of Mr. Marriott.
