To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what estimate he has made of the number of people who will cease to receive incapacity benefit because they have reached state pension age during the first year of operation of invalidity benefit. [18072]

In the first year of operation, it is estimated that around 100,000 people will cease to receive incapacity benefit on reaching state pension age.
