§ Mr. HowardThe provisional figure for expenditure on hospitality by my Department, including its executive agencies, from 1 April 1993 until 28 February 1995, which includes the period since my appointment to this office on 27 May 1993, is £88,044. Expenditure on hospitality in each of the previous five years was as follows:

- 1991–92: £28,094
