§ Mr. FreemanThe review of the first three years of operation of the Defence Accounts Agency has now been completed and I have placed a consultative document, summarising its findings; the options for the future; and the proposed way ahead in the Library of the House.
The Ministry of Defence has also now considered the future of the proposed Defence Accounts Agency mainframe rationalisation project. We have decided in the light of the conclusions of the review, that it would not now be appropriate to proceed with this project.
