Mr. Home Robertson

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many children have been diagnosed as having a specific speech or language disorder as a primary handicap, in each Scottish region and islands area; what number of these children from each region or island area are educated outwith their own region and, of these, how many are educated in England; what schools are attended by children with specific speech or language disorders who are educated within their own region and what is the annual cost per pupil; and of these children, identified with a specific speech or language disorder as a principal handicap, how many are recorded, in each region and islands area.
