Social Security benefits are available in Northern Ireland on the same basis as they are in Great Britain. It would not be appropriate to comment on the merits of individual cases as these are decided in accordance with the relevant law by independent adjudication authorities in the respective jurisdictions. Anyone who is dissatisfied with these decisions has the right to invoke the statutory review and appeal procedures.
