§ Mr. BoswellMy right hon. Friend meets the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals regularly and receives representations from them on a number of subjects. The issue of difficulties in recruitment to particular departments and specialisms was raised when she met the CVCP in September. The issue of university pay was raised when she spoke to the CVCP conference in December 1994. She has had no discussions with the CVCP about short-term contracts.
