As you know, the Minister for Railways and Roads, Mr. John Watts, has asked me to reply to your Parliamentary Question asking the Secretary of State for Transport, on what date it is expected that work will commence on the A6 Bypass of Rushden and Higham Ferrers.Subject to the satisfactory completion of the remaining statutory procedures the start of construction will be dependent upon the availability of funding.
