§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe Scottish Law Commission has now completed the consultation process which followed its discussion paper on the abolition of the feudal system. Several substantial issues have emerged as a result of the consultation process and the commission is unable to give a precise indication as to when its report will be available.
