The Church Commissioners' long-standing policy on fox hunting is that our tenants should follow their own consciences in deciding whether or not to allow hunts on to land in their care. Our tenancy agreements do not, therefore, reserve the right of hunting to the landlord. This right rests with the tenant. No stag hunting takes place on land owned by the Church Commissioners.
