§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe Welsh Office continues to devote considerable resources to the prevention and alleviation of homelessness. In 1994–95 some £5,000,000 was available to local authorities for capital schemes addressing homelessness or under-occupation; £500,000 revenue funding is also being directed to voluntary bodies.
