Executive Bodies–22.Advisory Bodies–5.Others–0.With regard to the Secretary of State's approval for those appointments not listed in "Public Bodies", I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 8 March, Official Report, column 141. In addition to those bodies, the Northern Ireland Regional Medical Physics Agency came into operation on 1 April 1994. The Secretary of State is responsible for the approval of the membership, comprising the chairman and one non-executive director, who are then appointed by the head of the Department of Health and Social Services.
