§ Mr. BowisThe Department makes grants available to a range of organisations for their work in representing the interests of disabled people within Europe and worldwide.
835WGrant aid is given as follows to the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation and the British Council of Organisations of Disabled People to cover affiliation fees to international bodies and to help with the expenses of other international work. Other organisations in receipt of funds from the Department of Health may, of course, spend part of these on international work.
