§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe welcome the fact that recent difficulties in Azerbaijan were resolved with minimal bloodshed, and stability has returned. There has been no effect on the production sharing agreement signed on 20 September between the state oil company of Azerbaijan and a consortium of western oil companies.
