asked Her Majesty's Government:

At what level, and with what delegation, they will respond to the invitation of the French Government to the Paris AIDS summit on 1st December 1994; and

Whether they have consulted, or will consult, with the relevant voluntary agencies, parliamentary groups, and medical and scientific bodies, as to the content of the presentation they will make on behalf of the United Kingdom at the Paris AIDS summit on 1st December 1994.

The United Kingdom will be represented at ministerial level at the Paris AIDS summit. Whilst the Minister attending will speak on behalf of the Government, officials will however be arranging to meet with voluntary organisations and others before the summit, in order that their views can be considered.
