§ Sir Hector MonroScottish Enterprise has confirmed that it is aware of the possible beneficial effects of earthworms in recovering derelict land. Indeed, it has had some work done on its behalf on this issue by the Strathclyde Greenbelt Company. Scottish Enterprise's environmental unit would be happy to provide the hon. Member with further details should he wish to contact it direct about the matter.
