To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what response he has made to the British Medical Association report, "Water—A Vital Resource", a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health published the Government's response to the BMA's board of science report "Water - A Vital Resource" on 16 June 1994, with which I and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State are in full agreement.
