§ Miss WiddecombeThe resources available to the United Kingdom under objective 3 and 4 of the European Community's structural funds will be devoted in the period 1994–96 exclusively to schemes to help the unemployed. The Government are currently preparing a plan for transmission to the Commission which will aim at cost-effective use of structural funds money available under the ADAPT Community initiative.
