asked the Chairman of Committees:
Whether, so far as possible, he intends to ensure that all meat and egg products served in the canteen and restaurants of the House have the RSPCA Freedom Food Mark.

Because of the size of its operations, the Refreshment Department buys it supplies from wholesalers and not directly from producers. It would not be practicable to try to ascertain from the wholesalers whether food carried a particular quality mark.
