To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is his policy on the privatisation of the royal dockyards.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave the hon. Member for Plymouth, Sutton (Mr. Streeter) on 23 November 1994,Official Report, column 146. Privatisation on the right terms remains the Government's preferred option.
