§ Mr. AtkinsWe have challenged the packaging industry to devise an industry-led scheme to substantially increase the recovery and recycling of packaging waste by the year 2000. The industry has published its proposals which would lead to a doubling of packaging value recovery levels to nearly 60 per cent. by the year 2000.
