§ Mr. Oppenheim[holding answer 28 November 1994]: The table provides the data requested for alternate years up to 1992 and for 1993. The data have been compiled from annual reports published by the Universities Statistical Record on surveys of the first destinations of new graduates. They refer to the position of graduates at the end of the calender year in which they graduated and they exclude graduates from institutions which did not have university status prior to 1992.
