§ Mr. David DavisCouncil directive 89/341/EEC of 3 May 1989—amending directives 65/65/EEC, 75/318/EEC and 75/319/EEC—on the approximation of provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action relating to proprietary medicinal products, and Council directive 85/374/EEC of 25 July 1985 on the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the member states concerning liability for defective products both refer to the term "industrially produced". It is not sufficiently clear what is meant by "similar terms" for this part of the question to be answered.
