§ Mr. NorrisWe have pressed for a number of changes to the proposed draft directive in the interests of safety, accessibility and the needs of bus and coach manufacturers and operators. We are currently awaiting revised proposals. Our aim, which we shall be taking forward in future discussions on the directive, is to ensure that low-floor buses are introduced where technically feasible.
