§ Sir Hector MonroWhen the Forestry Commission sells an area of land it checks the boundaries on the ground against the original title deed map and a master map of its land holdings. The exact boundaries of the land are then plotted on the current Ordnance Survey map which becomes the title deed map for the sale.
