§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryTo 31 October 1994 Customs and Excise prosecuted 307 individuals for the importation and illegal resale of alcohol and tobacco from other EU countries—178 in London and the south-east, 46 in the south and the south-west, 35 in the midlands and 48 in the north.
