2. DLA appeal figures for 1992–93 may include a small number of Mobility Allowance cases.
3. Appeals registered in the period shown may not relate to claims made during the same period.
4. Successful appeals are those where the rate of award has been increased, figures include cases where the disabled person's condition has deteriorated since the initial decision was made.
