§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the President of the Board of Trade how many export licences were applied for under the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1985(a) in 1992 and (b) in 1993; how many in each case were in respect of applications made under part III, group 1 of the order; and how many of the applications were circulated to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Defence.
§ Mr. Ian TaylorThis question could be answered only at disproportionate cost. There will however he some details of licences issued and refused in the annual report of the Export Control Organisation to be published shortly. A copy of that report will be placed in the Library of the House and I will also arrange for the hon. Member to receive a personal copy.
