(2) what is the nature and remit of the review currently being undertaken into the situation of overseas domestic workers in the United Kingdom;

(3) when he expects the review currently being undertaken by his Department into the situation of overseas domestic workers in the United Kingdom to report; and if he will then publish it;

(4) what action his Department is planning to strengthen measures to protect overseas domestic workers from abusive employers during their stay in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Nicholas Baker

There has not been a formal review, but I am considering the arrangements for the admission of domestic workers in consultation with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Employment Department.
