§ Mr. Robin SquireLocal education authorities' spending per pupil in 1992–93 on books and equipment and on repairs and maintenance was £75 and £82 respectively. These figures are for LEA-maintained nursery, primary and secondary schools. Equivalent information for 1993–94 is not yet available.
